Anyone got a CAT back Magnex exhaust on their Scooby???? I'm thinking about one (6x4 Oval) on my MY99 but wondered what people thought. Its about 200 quid.
Also, what about the warranty, will this be affected or do you think the dealer will be accommodating????
Cheers!!
Edited to add the oval bit!!

I've got a Magnex decat centre section (with resonator) and Magnex back box (round pipe, not oval, but they are very similar).
I've been very pleased with both bits of kit - nice noise (always seems to get a lot of comments) though not as deep as the SS backbox. Quality is very good and fitting is easy. Would recommend them.
As regards your dealer - it seems to vary from place to place. You'll find many who will fit items like replacement exhausts with no problem - others are not so accomodating. The view I have from my dealer is that if you fit a replacement exhaust and your gearbox falls out, they would not refuse a warranty claim. However, if the modification can in some way be attributed to a component failure, then you would be on your own.
You say you are in the South East, email me if you would like some details of decent mechanics / dealers who will help you.
Cheers
Chris

As one of the two cats is in the centre section Magnex "Cat back" system is actually just the back box.
Having said that its still good value at £200 and is now available with a 3.5" or 4" round pipes as well as the oval. Its your choice but the oval looks too much like an Impreza Sport back box IMO.
