Question

1997r wrx sti type R
I am getting an annoying engine whine from my car when Warm, it started about two months ago when my car took a soft trip over a small kerb (sideways). Could one of the belts tightened up after this ? What will i need to adjust to remedy this. I am hoping it will be an adjustment on the power steering belt or something, is this correct ?
cheers in advance, Kev

Check your power steering fluid levels. Its the most common cause of engine whine.

Thumbs up

I agree with Pete. I had the same thing...went away after I topped up the power steering.
