any sensor issues when decating?

is there any lambda probe issues? or sensor issues when decating a jdm sti 8? like some warning? or any problem with the lamda if they have one reading wrong emissions causing it to make the mixture to rich??

Jason, off topic but can you check your hotmail addy as its rejecting email, may be full up ?
If you decat without either a cel fix OR a remap you will get a check engine on occasion with the cats removed however it won't be an issue as I can reset the limits so it never happens.

ok please retry bob, sorry it was full. So if i decat the day before driving down for remap, will it cause any problems? or should be ok? as its a long journey for me??

Decatting will be ok, even if you get a CEL its just a warning and nothing is done about it, the code remains thats all (and the light) but not an issue re driving the car around.
