If it had full Subaru service history has had the massive 90k service done and is priced accordingly then maybe yeah.

Just bought a MY98 with 120K. I have always had cars with 100K+ mileages and never had any problems. The Japanese and Germans make cars so well. I guess one question is how long you'd plan to keep it. I think becuase they are harder to sell it makes less sense to buy high mileage if you aren't planning to keep it long.

Thumbs up

My 99 STI 5 has 117k on the clock now.

Has full history - serviced every 6k miles as per schedule.

No probs so far and at last service in November was told the only parts likely to need replacing before next MOT are the brake pads.

I agree with comments above re pricing and the importance of having a full stamped history showing correct servicing.

Cheers
Ben

probably all motorway cars at those mileages/yr, save a fortune, probably better than so called "low mile" imports, without history.
Nice to see not everyone is silly (down to the shops, never get hot properly)low mileage orientated.
