Question

..to save on insurance hassles I'm toying with the idea of replacing the system on my MY97 Wagon Turbo.....will an Sti/RB5/P1 etc system fit? ....will there be any noticeable gains.....or should I just replace the rear box with an Sti one if the gains arent there...just want to improve the look of my rear end

Richard

STi centre section has no cat, just a resonator.

All the tests I've done show the STi backbox to be as restrictive as the twin-peashooter variety.....but a hell of a lot better looking

I bought mv STi BB for £30. There's loads getting dusty in garages around the UK!

Regards
Richard

Cool

The STI back box is the same as the uk twin pipe with just a single outlet with STI stamped on it. I have both units sitting in my garage gathering dust
