My local dealer seems reluctant so I was wondering if anyone could recommend a company to fit a SS downpipe on a MY99 ?

Anyone got any ideas ?

DazV,

If you fancied a trip over West then I know someone that will fit it for you. Just had mine fitted by them and they did a good job.

E-mail me if you want to know more.

Daz,

I would recommend Formula 1, just down from the Warners Cinema. Ring 0191 2610383 and ask for Chris Humphrey, the service manager and tell him what you want doing. They are a Lotus dealership but also have plenty of performance cars in and know their stuff.

cheers

DaveW, thanks for the offer.

S, I'll give Formula 1 a try as its 15mins from where I live, although they're not Subaru specialists are they ?

I was thinking of trying Revolution who seem to specialise in Scoobs and Evo's I'm told - anyone got any GOOD reports on them ?

Glen at Revolution is a sound bloke, not sure what he will charge though, but i'd trust him no problem, all the lads there are good, Glen is often in the office and not always helping on the counter (stress of a boss i guess). Give him a bell. If you want i know a lad that would do it, used to do a lot rallying (built escort cossie's, GP4 escorts etc) i'll sort it out with him if you like. He does all my work, not scared to let you stand around and watch (good sign in my book).

Skip.

Cheers lads.

Yee - Formula 1 does Lotus cars, so like I said I'll get a price off them.

Skippy - Cheers mate, I'll ask Revolution for a price as well. What sort of money would your mate want ? (email me if you like)

Pete Croney - get a branch of Scoobysport opened in Newcastle!! The women are pigs, but the beer is good and the night life is WILD.

I'll ask him, he fitted my brothers SS downpipe, so he knows whats involved, only problem he said was having to use a little heat on some of the uts at the turbo end. I'll mail you, but if F1 can do it i'd trurst them too, used to know the workshop manager there, he was a sound bloke too.

Skip.
