OK.

I have a 93 wrx.
HSK Drain pipe exhaust, down pipe to be decided, HKS green Mushroom Induction kit.

The wife has agreed to me spending a grand on the engine/power, what do I go for ??

Suggestions please.

You might want to think about an oil cooler. Since its the first mod that most Jap tuners do first.

Then you could go for

Broquets
Downpipe (you don't say whether this is included in the 1k)
Centre section (not sure if your car has a centre CAT)
Spend the rest on the wife so she will give you more (money) in the future.

The Down pipe is not included in the grand.
The rest of the HKS system is cat free.

I guess I'll be looking at, Broquets, Oil cooler, & Water spray kit fo the inter cooler.

Any other sugestions ?

Get some gauges...

Determine whether you need an oil cooler before spending 300+ on a kit.

Sort out the breathing... intake and exhaust...

Check your intake temps... determine whether they need cooling.. if not, dont bother with an uprated intercooler...

The easiest way to get more power next is to up the boost.. in the form of a Uni-chip or Link (cheaper options listed). Recheck inlet temps during this too.

Now you have spent ya 1K

Nothing is cheap nowadays.
