Hi all,

I have a H&S downpipe to fit, but didn't get any gaskets with it. I'd like to replace them at the same time as fitting the new one. Which gaskets will I need and are they a dealer only part?

Thanks,

Karl

Not quite sure if they're available from Motor Factors..

But i paid around £9 from a dealer for my Turbo/exhaust gasket.

Thanks for the reply

So is it just the one gasket I need, or do I need to replace the one to the manifold/block too? And what about the small one where the center section joins? Is it worth just replacing them all?

I had the up & downpipe changed and genuine gaskets from subaru are £10 each

Phil

Edited to say that, you definatley need new gaskets for the turbo end but depending on the car you mite be OK with the others

For a true fit it would be best to replace them all, nothing worse than having a leak & having to do the job all over again with a new gasket.

You won't have to repace the donut gasket though as these are good for many uses

got all the Gaskets you guys reckon I'm gonna need today from my local Subaru dealer. £28 quid for the two manifold gaskets and the turbo gasket

Thanks for the advice. Incidently I phoned around a number of motor factors and none of them would sell me these gaskets. They all said that it was a main dealer part

Thanks again!
