Idle speed
#1
Hi Guys, could somebody tell me me how to increase the idle speed on my Sti3 V-ltd. At present it ticks over at around 500 revs when warm which is a little low. Hopefully the operation is not software controlled. Any advice appreciated.

Hi Scott,
I have a late model inlet manifold and the idle speed can be adjusted as follows. (don't know how familiar you are under the bonnet, so excuse the basic explanation)
Looking from the front of the car, locate the throttle body, bit between the inter cooler and inlet manifold. Just to the right, on top of the inlet manifold, is a grey bit (idle speed controller) held in by two screws and wires connecting to it.
With the car running, loosen the two screws turn it gently. One way will reduce the revs the other increase them. (Sorry, can't remember which is which)
