Question

I have a myoo impreza uk and so far i have only done moderate changes, scoobysport dp and rear box, larger front mount intercooler, cold air induction and a prodrive ecu. Do u have any idea of what outputs are being produced (ie. hp and lbs)?
0-60 in 4.8 and qutr in 13.8
Also, i am thinking of changing the turbo charger to a vf 23 as the ones in the wrx sti. Would i have considerable gains? what is the max boost possible for safe running and reliability to be maintained with changing only to forged pistons or standard?

cheers

Nick,

Ypu've done some good mod's, but unfortunately, the Prodrive ecu really won't be able to take advantage of them.

The VF23 seems to work very well on the UK cars, bit more laggy, but not too bad. It seems that about 1.2bar is the max recommended boost to run on a UK, before you need to go internal. Your front mount will certainly help keep things safe, but the pistons, and rods will become an issue if you go any further.

Ideally, you would need to consider a "re-mappable" ecu. This would allow you to take advantage of your mod's, and safely increase the boost.

With all this done, I would expect you to be approaching STi figures.

Mark.
