Im going to modify my header tank (braze / weld a different fitting on for the turbo water feed)

Where can I get it zinc plated or whatever it is again?

You mean the lid to the header tank?

Decent paint would be okay wouldn't it, given that there is corrosion inhibitor in the coolant?

Other than that you need a plating shop of some sort.
