If any one's interested - I am in the loft extension, appox 10 minute walk from the Highstreet, and I swear I just heard an Impreza go up the highstreet.
Probably second gear, they were on and off the throttle. 'Tis a rather distinctive noise.

PS, Thats through double glazing aswell.
We keep getting 'buzzed' by WRC Focus's from Ford!
