I've just bought a 2nd hand K&N induction kit which is about 12 months old. I want to clean it up before fitting it to reduce chance of MAF damage on MY00.

I've got quite a stiff brush to remove the fluff and debris from the outside. What else should I do before fitting it.

Or should I just buy a new one?

TIA

Got to Halfords, Demon Tweeks, or even here on the Filterpower website

And get the K&N cleaning kit.

You will have all the bits and instructions on how to clean and re-oil the filter. Costs about a tenner.
