Replacing Gear Knob
#1
erm, you wont get much of a quicker shift by replacing the gear kob itself, but it is very easy to swap the std **** for a momo one
(so easy that i did it myself! - so it must be!)

Oh sorry, i misread.
Yes
1)unscrew it
2)unhook leather gaiter by pulling it off the lip
3) Cut off plastic lip on bottom of original **** or purchase metal one from GGR (latter recommended so original is preserved)
4) Glue this into the lower assembly of the momo **** with superglue or the like
5) Fit momo in reverse order, need to align centrally and tighten up the self tapping allen key screws (dont forget to insert the right sized rubber bush supplied with it)
6) To get the lower half of the momo **** to screw up onto the upper part, its much easier if you dont hook the lower part onto the leather gaiter UNTIL after
7) Double check **** is tight (so it doesnt rotate after EH STEVE LAWSON?!!! ) and enjoy
