Unhappy

I run an STi Ver IV, its developed an intermittent clutch judder, seems to be no pattern but occasionally when pulling away normally, low revs the clutch will judder badly for no apparent reason, then it will be OK for a day or so Any ideas??

Question

After the recent floods I was caught out down a lane which was under 4ft of water, first I knew of it was when it all went dark and murky and a wave went over the head lamps , so I slipped the clutch and gave it about 5000 revs , got out the other side of the ocean fine but with a smell of burning clutch. About 500 yds down the road clutch pedal went to the floor and wouldnt return until pulled fairly hard. Since then ( about 600 miles ) I've noticed judder, at first I thought it was a wet plate but it should have dried out by now. Any ideas? I know that judder is a regular occurence so I'm not worried......

The judder is because your flywheel is warped. This is also the reason it is intermittent. You either need to live with it or change the clutch & flywheel,i have just had mine done at VBJ Greenham common just under 500 sqid. The service was good and they are just up the road from you
