on my my97 uk turbo my clutch has started slipping in Third, and fourth and is very juddery even when warm! from the history of the car it's still on its original clutch after 63000 miles.

Im presuming that it will only get worse?? so my question is what should i replace it with the car at the moment is almost standard but i plann on upping the power next year, and as for the fly wheel is it worth replacing for a lighter one??

Any advice appriciated ive never had to change a clutch on my cars before so dont really knoew what route to go.

Regards
Pete

I got fed up with the standard clutch as they always seemed too grabby and went juddery so i had a Helix sports clutch fitted at Scoobysport (good for 350 lbft) and a skimmed flywheel.

It transformed the feel and it was a pleasure to change gear again. Only downside.... 800 notes

Phone Rogerclark motorsport and get yourself an AP racing organic clutch (good for 500bhp) and 1 of their lightened flywheels.
Did it in the summer- well happy

Paddle clutches are evil for road use !

On or off ..

But if that's your flava then fine!

AP Organic or the helix mentioned earlier are frequently mentioned as good, long lasting and reliable with significant power / torque increases.

Graham Goode - We could provide you with a 3 part Exedy clutch which would be suitable for
your car handling up to 330 bhp selling at £ 337.78 plus vat. A P offer a
Group N clutch for up to 350 bhp selling at £ 346.67 plus vat for the cover
and plate with the bearing being an additional £ 64.44 plus vat .

GG was slightly cheaper than TSL.
