Chris - Im running 1.3 max on my STI5. I have HKS EVC set at 1.1 or 1.3 bar. Ive had check on rolling road at PE and fuelling ok at that level. Im now using Millers octane booster with Super Unleaded which I hope will do some good as Japanese use 100 gas. Im having another go at PE soon to check results at higher boost levels - see what happens. As to when it goes bang - your guess. Let me know when you find out the hard way!

I have a MY94 WRX and run 1.2 bar peak, and 1.1 held. I wouldn't go much past this without fitting STi head gaskets at least!!

my00 with PPP; peak at 1.3 bar, held 1.1 (until about 5k, then drops .05 bar held).

How accurate are the in-car guages? I've got a Lamco dealer-fit STi style one.

Stuart, I have a MY93WRX so should be safe running at similar to yours...which remap did you get to boost to 1.2/1.1bar?

Do you use superU? I do and run 0.8bar (unmodified) - is this normal?
When I use NUL the boost doesn't change, surely this is wrong? (or it can't set boost/timing low/retarded enough)

Spence27, my 93 WRX holds 0.8 bar as well so you're in the right field. I wouldn't use NUL if I were you due to the Japanese fuel situation and detting. I use SUL and Millers octane booster.
