Question

Could anyone tell me from actual experience if a UK97/98 is certain/likely/unlikely to pass the emission test on the MOT ? I've had comments like - it should if its hot enough etc. Factual info would be greatly appreciated, as I would like to run fully decatted but put the centre cat on once a year to pass (?) the MOT.
Thanks,

Stan

My MY00 emissions were perfect with just the centre cat. I now run 'catless'.

I found that performance is now reduced off-boost as there is very little back-pressure. On-boost seems better though

Economy has dropped a bit since changing the centre section but I don't care.

Kevin.

Thanks Kevin. By perfect I assume you mean (well) within limits.
I was very impressed with the performance gains when I removed the centre cat and was told its the same again without the DP cat.
I am going to get the emission data with the current set up for reference.
