Question

Tried this question for my Forester stb but no replies so i'll pretend its an Imprezza instead...
I have an MY97 with what seems to be classic blowing dump valve at 200 rpm either side of 3000 rpm , depending on load on engine (bodies or incline).
Was the failure of the DV a recall job? Does it badly affect performance and should I replace ASAP
If this question has been gone over many times then please be patient and direct me to a suitable archive or link.
regards
Nick

Cool

I would get this checked and replaced if necessary. Obviously you want the car to be running 110% correct making it 110% enjoyable!!

MY97 might be out of warranty now?, ask your local dealer?
