No resonator box,Is it too wet?

Some time ago I removed the resonator box from the inner wing and at the same time I took out the front indicators and relocated them inside the sidelights. Now i`m wondering wether its a good idea given the ammount of water which is going to get sucked in, should I put the resonator box back on?
