sti with no cats

hi have just got my new toy a sti v2 it has a stainless on with no cats sounds great.
but i want to no if it back fires a lot is this normal?
seems to do it most times when coming of the loud pedal

Catted cars can run rich to help cool the cats - I think.
Now that you have no cats, the unburnt fuel will stay in the pipe and occasionally go pop.
Shouldn't be anything to worry about - unless it is really excessive.
You may reduce the amount of popping with an ECU remap - I guess that could change the fuelling....
