Hi,
I have decided to go for a cat-back exhaust for my STi8 and a remap using ECUTEK...

I have used the search-function on this website but I would like to get uptodate info about the cat-back exhaust below.

My options include Magnex, Scorpion or Revolution.
Looking for experienses regarding the fitting-quality of these exhausts to my type of car STi8!
I do not want a system that one has to modify to fit!

Can't comment on rhe Sti8 fitment but have a Revolution cat system on my V5 Type R and its quality. 3" pipe work straight through and no problems clearing the diff. Also Harvey Smith had one fitted to his monster Sti6 wagon

I have the Magnex 6x4 oval cat back system on my STi7 which fitted perfectly, fits rear valance perfectly & excellent quality. This removes the resonator section downstream of the second cat and replaces with a straight through pipe.

The noise is excellent IMO, not too loud but brings back the Scooby burble.

The power/torque gains however are improved by replacing the downpipe and second cat so I would do this before spending money on a re-map.

i also have the REV cat back system, i had no problems with mine either, i think most of the NE scoobs have one

i do rember a few users from this board saying the joins were leaking on theres?
