Is it any good? Searched the BBS but there isn't much info.

I've been offered a used one for £50.

Thanks for your advice

Where from? Falkland?

So reading between the lines are you saying that JS is cr@p? Feel free to e-mail me off line if that's a sensitive topic or something.

Cheers, lordlucan!

I am not saying the Janspeed is crap however how many Scooby owners use them. The Magnex is a quality bit of kit.
But in all honesty does it matter, its only a piece of pipe to do away with the cat, which is why SS cut the cat out and weld in a bit of pipe.
I bought the Magnex as it had a small resonator box that makes the overall sound a little less intrusive without affecting performance.
Can recommend Falkland, especially as you get 10% discount when you mention SIDC, and it will be deleivered next day.

I believe that JanSpeed manufacture the backbox used by Prodrive in the Prodrive Performance Pack.

Take that as a good or bad point depending on your point of view!

I have a Magnex straight through decat section on my MY97 Turbo, purchase for £65 from ABP Motorsport near Crewe. Sounds nice in combination with the Scoobysport backbox!

Andrew.
