Hi
I have a MY97 with s/s downpipe & back box, K&N filter. It has 109,000 miles on. Thinking of link ecu upgrade. To high mileage or does it not matter
Regards Ian

Ian,
As long as the car is in a good mechanical condition, I wouldn't think that it will cause a problem.
The big plus in going for the Link with this many miles is when you do change car, you can put the original ECU back in the car and sell the Link separately.
I got mine from Bob Rawle

I was thinking of doing the same. Mines a MY96 with 88000 miles - a youngster. I've been offered a PE Phase 1 ECU - does anyone know if I can just bolt it in with the rest of the bits it was set up with (T75 downpipe, SS box, Blitz induction), or will it need setting up for a different car?

You will have to have it set up with a differant map for your car. You may get immobilizer & key problems just putting it in without a proper set-up. A set-up at PE will cost £150 if you are getting it done use 95 Ron fuel for the set-up. You can always use 97 Ron after.
I hope the Phase 1 came off a MY96 they are differant from year to year.
