Hello Everyone,
Ive had my MY93WRX for a few weeks now, at first I was running it on RON95 and found it was pinking. I have since changed to RON98 and it is better but am considering using an octane boostrr for added protection.
My question is what would happen if I fooled the ECU into thinking that the charge temp was hotter than it actualy was? Im hpoing that this would cause the timing to be retarded and prevent the pinking. I could do this by adding a resistor to the temp sensor. Would this work or am I talking out of MY93arse!
