I just purchased an Sti 2 555, and was wandering whether the block was closed or not. I am just curios as to whether I can get big power with the block if I upgraded the internals. Thanks for the help.

But in answer to your question, someone with a bit of experience cold tell from the outside, but it could go either way. I know of sti owners who do not have, I know of wrx owners of the same vintage who do have.
