How much bar on turbo???
#1
I've been wondering how much bar the impreza UK turbo runs?
My mate has just bought a Pulsar GTi-R and its running 1 bar with a hybrid turbo, and feels more forceful after 3000 RPM. But maybe its because I was in the passengers seat and you always get a different aspect.
See Ya!

Gavin,
The car is a MY2000. So from what your saying it should be running 1 bar. I'll check the dyno figures.
Reason I brought the subject up, is the car doesn't have the snap feel to it when I first had it, or maybe I'm getting used to it.
Thanks,

IDRIS,
Yes, I think you are. I had the same feeling. Couldn't live with these doubts so took the car to Power Engineering for a rolling road test. Result - everything is very normal, the bhp and torque were even higher than average If you are really worried go for this test - it's only £50 but gives you piece of mind... and once you know how much power is actually there the car will suddenly feel fast and powerful again
Best,
Andrei

Subarussian,
Your probably right, you know. How ever this test doesn't sound to bad for £50. See how it goes. I think I'm at the stage where I'm wanting more power, or maybe I'm greedy.
Simple up-grades like air filter and exhaust change. But that can wait since I need a turbo timer, waiting for the engine to cool down is now just a flipping pain.
Thanks,
*IDRIS*
