Vent to Atmos or Recirc Dumpvalves.

Trying to decide which dump valves or BOV to choose.I know for the fact that vent to atmos dump valve caused exhaust popping between shifts.Does both type of dump valves dump excess air efficiently preventing turbo from stalling and damaging it?

Hi Carlos.Good to hear from you again.BOV is a must otherwise turbo may encounter some kind of damage due to compressor stall.I was watching an Ozzie motor documentary film regarding Japanese tuning,drag racing both track and street called Imports V5(I think) and the president of Veilside did mentioned that their GTR tuned for drag racing do not have BOV and their turbo do not last.For them they can afford to change turbos.

Look at www.gfb.com.au under Stealth FX for WRX, works as recirc and dump to atm and is full adjustable from 0 to 100%>
