Error codes
#1
I have a 91 Legacy 2.2GX which has an intermitant "Check Engine" signal. This occurs if you stop the engine after 20 minutes plus driving and then re start the engine within another 20 minutes. It can usually be cleared by turning the engine off and on again. I have done an ECU download and have errors 13 (camshaft) and 35 (Purge contol solenoid valve). Can anyone out there help, what exactly do these two error codes mean.

error code 13 is a common trouble code on most subes and indicates that the cam angle sensor is up the duff ! Its not unusual for the ecu to detect other error codes due to a non start condition replace the cam sensor first and you should be ok!! <BLOCKQUOTE><font size="1" face="Verdana, Arial">quote:<HR>Originally posted by Legacy Down Under:
