Sti VI ECU
#4
I thought that two ECUs even for the same model are not the same - each adjusted to suit the individual engine. Isn't this true?
If not, might I consider using a STi ECU on my WRX?

Firefox - Thanx ...*git*
WRX will not be able to used the STi ECU even if the connector r the same.
The car would be able to start and drive but .. it will run rich.... do try it. U will notice the ignition timming advancement r different between ECUs . Even the injector and Air Flow Meter r different.
Some STi cars run extra sensor...ie. Air Temp. Sensor.
Version V and VI .......ECU ... hmmmm... I have no idea about that. Look into the engine bay of both cars and check if the sensor, injector .. air flow meter r the same.
See yaaaaa ...... bye.
