Hi.. Its just an idea....

But... wouldnt it be nice and easy to have a centralised webpage (on SIDC) that contains info on modifying.... Because different people keep asking the same questions each week.... how do I increase boost... how do I get more power...

Aslong as the SIDC put disclaimers in... I cant see why it wont work.. Ok there is more work for Ian (Hi matey - lol)... But it certainly would increase the publicisty... I think most people on the web are looking for parts and how to mod a scoob...

Certainly this is true. As a beginner here many months ago I asked various questions...the same questions that I have seen other newbies ask time and time again.

The FAQ has a lot of important content but I believe the way the information is delivered needs to be improved. Especially if we start to add lots to it.

A decent index, sections, search capability etc not just a length html document.

I have found that a lot of people have got a lot of decent information on their own websites (of course mine is the best and most informative ) but really this should be centralised.

Ian..(if you're reading!) any ideas ?

 

hmmm. I thought the FAQ tended to be more about the various versions of cars and their "little foibles" (eg juddery clutches, understeer, grin factor).

Oh, and the Bright Switch.

Perhaps someone should start an Impreza Upgrade FAQ...? (a.k.a. "1001 uses for your bright switch" )

I'll host it initially if Ian doesn't want to put it on the SIDC at first...

Any thoughts, Ian?
