Question

Hello to all!

I have an spanish Impreza '99 with 9.000 kms.
My question is:

What things can i do for increase the power get a better result from this car?
I'm talking about these modifications that give bigs results without bigs technicals jobs.

In the same sense, i need too if anyone can tell me these things that i need to know for obtain the better result from my machine.

Finishing, can anyone tell me if this car have any "bad" things that i need to know?

Thanks very very much and regards to all.

Good to hear from a new member. It is worth while having a look at the FAQ as there is a lot of good information there. But to summarize
1. Fuel: what fuel are you using? best results are with 98RON fuel or higher
2. If you have been using lower octane fuel than this it may be worthwhile doing an ECU reset.
3. Scoobysport back box or similar item but this seems to be the prefered option.
4. Induction kit or replacement performance air filter.
The above require next to no mechanical knowledge
5. As you are in Spain a visit to Power Engineering seems a bit unliklely but all us brits go on holiday to Spain so why don't you come and see sunny England resist the temptation to buy a cheap chip by mail order as these are not very sophisticated and can lead to problems. If you do a search for Power Engineering or PE you will see what others have had to say about them, I have yet to see anything bad.

Just my two pennorth worth
Paul
