Unhappy

When I bought my 94 UK Impreza Turbo from local main agents I took the car from them knowing it will need a clutch and g/box bearings, so after buying it I shopped around for prices and got it done at a place i've had work done before on previous cars (well they were the cheapest).
I got the car back a week later having had the clutch and bearings done and fitted another flywheel but the car seems slower at acceleration and also I used to hear a rattle noise from exhuast area at 3000revs now its 1500revs.
Any help is appreciated.

Hi. I recon that when the clutch was being fitted the garage disconected the battery and this caused the ECU to reset. The same thing happened to me when a dealer fitted a new cam belt. I filled up with SUL and all was well within a couple of weeks or so.
