I had my car at Well Lane today and it seems something strange was happening with the boost. On the first run it only went to 10PSI then droped to 8PSI.
The next run it went to 14 but dropped back to 10. Through the runs it appeared it was not givng any kind of consistency compared to other cars. It is a 98MY standard except for ITG / ScoobySport (7000miles). Any ideas as I will be visiting the dealer next week.
I am not noticing the 'cut-out' that people describe while driving.

Richard, to find out if the dealer solves your problem I would suggest using a boost gauge - I have an old one my father use to have on a cosworth, if you want borrow it let me know.

More Information.

I borrowed a boost guage and using third gear up a long hill I kept my foot flat down from 2000 RPM.

The boost builds very quickly to to an indicated 14/14.5
then drops back 13 - this is then held until 6000 RPM where it drops back to 10. Should this be happening or should I expect to hold the 13 PSI.
