PPP for WRX - anyone know about this?
Hi...
Just got my new Black WRX 03 and am looking to upgrade her a little...
I was thinking about going for the PPP since the original Subaru warranty would still apply(??!?).
Has anyone tried this one - or had any experiences - good or bad.
I don't know the price either?
So my question - should I go for this one or an Ecutek and some kind of freeflowing exhaust system.
Ehrmm...and what about suspension - I would like to lower her about 25-30mm - any recommendations would be appriciated.
I'm running 18" Prodrives - and would like a neutral well´handling car.
Maybe the new spring-kit from Prodrive as well??
Thanks

From: North Yorks, MY03 PPP, now run a Mondeo ST TDCI 06
PPP is the way to go to retain the warranty and offers a big improvement over standard noise and power.
Prodrive springs should be available very soon and will lower the ride height and provide better high speed stability than your current setup, according to Mike Wood at Prodrive.
Search on WRX PPP and Prodrive springs and read people's comments.

Thanks guys..
Unfortunately I live in TAX-hell on earth - Denmark.
Standard WRX - 43.700Ł including TAX
STi - 56.500Ł including TAX
.....hence the WRX with PPP!!!
...and unfortunately not any WRX'es around at all - and defenitely not PPP's....maybe I should just move to Sweden - 5km. from here (across the sea) and no tax'es on cars at all!!!
But it sounds like the PPP is the one to go for - I flipped through a couple of the posts...
Should any Subaru dealer be able to install this or will I need to take the car to UK?

I can recommend the WRX 03 PPP as an owner, it makes the car better than standard in both performance terms and also sound-wise (if thats what youre after).
If it wasnt for the loss of the warranty I probably wouldve gone for an ecutek and new exhaust system for half the price but there we go. Depends what the warranty is like in Denmark.
Oh and as mentioned above the new WRX springs "should" be available this month (from UK dealers anyway).
