If you have an sti8 you're best off keeping the heads with the variable cams, and getting a 2,5 short motor. PMS will do short motors or complete, and anything in between,

Also check out places in the US, there is Axis Power Racing, Cobb (pricey), and at least one other selling 2.5 short engines.

Or you could come and have a look at mine!

Pavlo I take it that yours is still up for sale m8? I am currently looking at a few options of 2.5l short motors. A: Re-sleeve an EJ22t block and build it in this country. B: PMS short motor (reasonable price) or C: A short motor from a very successful Auz company. At the end of the day its about quality, reliabillity (reputation basis) & cost.
