obviously the air con unit uses a certain amount of power to run, thus the potential benefit might be outweighed thus.

Fords 5l supercharged V8 (as fitted to some wierdo truck) comes with a pot of water chilled by A/C. When flung into the charge cooler i beleve they claimed 50bhp rise for about 30seconds, then another couple of mins to recharge it.

So it would seem technically possible but for the sort of wee bursts, co2 spray would probably be cheeper and better.

Surely wouldn't hurt to feed one of the vent pipes of cold air into the airbox, have to put a valve on though because it'll play havoc when the heaters on lol
