Question

Would this be necessary?
I have a Power FC and AVC-R, If I fitted a box with slighty shorter gears 3rd &4th, and my AVC-R set NOT to "learn" would I need a re-map?

Wouldn't think it needs any changes at all. You may benefit from adjusting the duty up slightly (say 1%) for the gears that are shorter to achieve boost, that is all.
