Hi, I am trying to install a Knock Link with the Bosch knock sensor provided (something I usually don't do, normally I would just take the signal out of the stock one). I don't have the original instruction manual ..... so just checking, is the Red wire for +12v, Brown wire for signal, and the two black wires for ground (now one of them must be for the sensor) or can both black wire be connecte to ground ?

Black & Brown go to sensor.

red goes to +12v ignition & other black goes to ground.

To add to Stefan's post, with the black and brown wires that go to the sensor, it doesn't matter which way around you connect them.

thanx a lot

but I opened the Knock Link box to check out, and yep both black wires are "joined" in the circuit board
