Can anyone explain why I get 1.1 bar on 4th and 5th gear (peak), but can only get about 1.05 in third, with a similar decrease for 2nd ?
I know that Dawes fitting suggests using 4th/5th WOT, as boost is highest in these gears, but WHY ?
I've hit Fuel Cut twice in the last two days in 4/5th, but don't in third - If I reduce the boost, to stop this, will it reduce proportionally in the lower gears, or is it just that I can't produce more than 1.05 in third. (If this is the case, then I can reduce it, avoid cut, but not worry that its <1 in 3rd and 2nd)....
Thanks,
Mark

Cheers John - BUT bugger !
Guess I've no choice but turn it down, but I think I'll look at some kind of fc remover....
as for the boost level does this mean that the power is less in the lower gears ? As you can see from my other thread, my KL and AFR show everything to be OK, so I'm a having to turn it down and suffer in the lower gears for no reason -
ALSO, I didn't notice it lower than .9 in the lower gears PRIOR to fitting the Dawes, or perhaps I wasn't looking very hard ....

If it wasn't any lower than .9 then it was probably spiking a bit over in the higher gears. If you don't think it is quicker switch back to factory control and then see if you still think so.
