I was all set to go get a hks hiper muffler to fit my sti7, when i find out theres none left in stock and that future hiper mufflers will now be made quieter because of new laws in japan ,gutted was an understatment. I am now looking at a tsl firestorm are these exhausts any good, has anyone had any problems with them and are they loud?

I've had the Firestorm for a few months now. Changed from a Magnex. Love it.

Then a few weeks back i went full de-cat..Even better !!

Tis very loud, but then i have a wagon, which kinda makes it worse.

Would go for it if i were you.

I've had a Firestorm on mine and i have to say for looks and sound, you wont beat it. I had to get rid coz i'm working a few nights a week and my neighbours would lynch me at 3.00am in the morning

Seriously, you wont be disappointed its very well manufactured and TSL give it the lifetime warranty to back that up!

and LOOK here.

If you like the HKS then you would be better off looking at a Blitz Nurspec, different league to a Firestorm regarding build quality/noise etc.

If its just the Backbox your love it and should'nt have any probs
with the fitment. If you already have a system where the centre pipe is 3" then it will be a tight fit. It was on mine and it has
started to blow so will have to try and source a gasket if I can.

Depends on what kind of exhaust you want? Styling, Noise, Power?

I'd only go for:

Hiper
Apexi N1
Buddy Club
5Zigen

Withit being a slash cut the top sticks out about 1 1/2" and prolly about flush with the proudest part of the bumper at the bottom.

I had to get rid as i am in charge of a project on nights

My next door neighbours bedroom is next to my garage and the echo at 3am would be a little too much for my neighbour to bear. I have full de-cat and its

I know a lot of peeps have opinions but i have to say of the four boxes i've had on the back, this looks and sounds by far the best.

All IMHO of course

I may have some old images on my pooter at home so i will try and post them to you if i find them

Ton..

Tried to send you a few pics but Hotmail bounced them back.
I'll reduce the size and try again.

Johnny.
