I've had ITG from TSL on my car for 20K miles (1 year). No probs so far -(Its a 98MY Turbo uk),
BUT - most people seem to be going for green nowadays -which I've just fitted to Jayne's car.
Certainly the green is MUCH less oily,

Swapped from ITG to a <<very quietly>> OEM filter.
At £22 a throw, I can get two for about the price of an ITG (or K&N, green etc), chuck them away every 15,000 miles and NOT have worries about gunk on the MAF.
I bet it filters better anyway in that mileage.

Now there's something new!!!
Green have just finished a Subaru only fitment filter for us. Manufactured to our spec.
Distinguishable by its rather saucy blue hue. No need to change if you already have an excellent "Green" Green.. the gains would be marginal. But worthy of consideration otherwise.
Cheers

I was in 2 minds about ITG or green but think I'll take the safer blue green option.
Also Trouser, you say gains are marginal - I'm not really looking for a massive leap in power - but does the green give a difference in fuel economy?
cheers

Trouser, in what way is your new filter different from the original one (colour apart of course! ). Would it be correct to assume the element is a fraction larger?
