i am looking at getting a second hand tek 3 ecu for a my99. it had been mapped for a a full decat,induction kit and a vf23 turbo.
the question is i have a my99 with decat centre and backbox and a vf28 turbo(i have been meaning to get a green panel filter) what effect on the mix and general running of the car would this this ecu have?

Buying a 2nd hand TEK3 sounds like a bloody bad idea to me. Remember that it has been mapped specifically for one individual car, not yours.
TEKs 2 and 2.5 were the 'off the shelf' maps.
