P0136 02 Sensor, error code what is it ?
#1
On my Decat TEK3 01 WRX I have got the P0136 02 Sensor (Bank1 Sensor 2) check engine light several times recently.
What is this ?
I've be told not to worry about it in the past when it came on and went off but now the car seems to be getting it more regularly. Car runs absolutely fine 100% of the time and goes very well but I get fed up with seeing the CEL.
Are we talking knackered sensor ? Or a possible problem ?
If it's the sensor can someone tell me where it is please ?
Thanks for any advice
Nathan..

There are sites showing the codes somewhere - I think Ravensblade may be one? From memory, I think this may be the "slow response from rear 02 sensor" code.
If I'm right (and I'm not saying I am!), it won't effect running, it's all part of the emmissions testing - do you have a CEL fix for having a decat? A few people in the states have had this from someone's CEL fix.

I had this fault numerous times after my decat (I reset it with my SECS unit). It never affected the cars running but of course it shakes you up when you are giving it some and the bloody light pops on!
I knackered mine by using fire gum rather than buying new gaskets for the exahust gaskets.
