i have just bought a 1999 turbo and i have a few questions.
the car has a green air filter. how can i clean this?
there is a sulphurish smell from the exhaust after hard driving is this due to lead in fuel (car is in kenya)
how can i check what boost the turbo is running without a gauge or dyno?
is a blow off valve available for this car?

have just bought a 1999 turbo and i have a few questions.
the car has a green air filter. how can i clean this?
Use a commercial degreaser, (then lightly reoil it, but only if it's the type that needs oil, or you'll fek the MAF sensor)
there is a sulphurish smell from the exhaust after hard driving is this due to lead in fuel (car is in kenya)
Common smell from the cats, which convert acid sulphur oxides into hydrogen sulphide.

If you mean a dump valve, it has one already. The one fitted is a recirculating type, which doesn't make the loud Whoosh. The Vent to atmosphere type, which does, is not a preferred option with the car, although some folk do use 'em.
