Can anyone please confirm that the "classic" always sounds like the battery is a bit low when starting? My wrx turned over very quickly, but my my/00 seems like the battery is down even though its a new one! A friend of mine who had a my/99 said "he's was the same".

I fink mines alright (my00).

Do you use it often? The Mazda we use at work isn't used very often, no more than once a week, it's slightly younger than your scoob and it sounds like the battery's knacked when you start it.

I'd get the battery checked, sound like its down on capacity, plus if its as old as you say, the standard batteries dont seem to last over three years anyway.
