you shouldnt feel a difference power wise.
the pump is there to make sure that the engine doesnt run lean when the ecu asks for a certain amount of fuel.
if it was running lean before then you might feel a difference, but if it was fine, then you won't.

cheers for answer i remeber another person saying on a different site that it felt a bit pokier when he fitted it
what about the psi though that can surely rise as the fuel cut kicks in at 16psi when i setted the dawes up

Fitted my new fuel pump & regulator at the weekend - one word of advice if you've not fitted it - make sure you get some spare rubber 'o' rings that go onto the adapter with the FSE - my car's been out of action because when we put the adapter in, the ring got caught & sheared off - oh, and never do jobs on a Sunday!
I can say I have driven it properly today & yes I can feel a difference, the car seems to pick up quicker, and it has also made me use a bit more petrol, due to the factor, so hope you don't want it to be economical
Comment of mechanic when I took him home in it -
"I gotta get me one of these!!" (and he's a cossie boy!)
