Hi everybody,its been several months since ive posted here(since i regrettably sold my MY98 scooby for an M3 EVO)but ive missed the "driving" experience of the scooby so much that im going to trade i in and go for a bugeye now.

Anyway......

I was just wondering if anyone knows how John Banks's project was going on how far he could tune his engine on std internals before it self destructs???????

Don't think it did
There are/have been a fair few 400+ on standard internals around for a while now & I don't think any have blown (or shown signs of blowing) yet. Although, as usual, anything over 350 is going to start doing nasty thing to the drivetrain...
