Question

Just fitted mine - can anyone confirm the behaviour's OK ?

once the car is warm I get :

No lights at low throttle (i.e. 60 mph steady on a flat road)
Green/Yellow at mid throttle
Blue at full throttle
The red light flashes, very briefly, as I close the throttle.
The only time it 'christmas trees' is with a slight throttle off, and it only does the cycle once...

I've heard /read that it only reads on WOT, in which case Blue is Good, so sounds OK, but I was expecting more flashing on cruising - Not that I mind, the lights being out is less distraction

Cheers,

Mark

oh - 98 UK Turbo with full decat and ITG panel filter - I've not fitted the Dawes MBC yet, waiting for Knock link first....

Yep thats the same as mine .... i do tend to get a flashing red when cruising though ... the only time i get the meaningless flashes you speak of is before the lambda is warmed up. Yours sounds fine though.

Question

or maybe not ... Now I've used it for 100 miles or so....

Please see page 2 of this afr thread. I'm getting a red light at <2500 revs at full throttle.....
