Turbo H6

andy, to my knowledge the H6 is only applied by suabru to the ez30, not the eg33 even though both are horizontally opposed 6s.
You wouldnt want to over bore. the cylinder walls are alredy very very close together, and the exhaust ports are siamesed.
The major advantage with the H6 over the EG33 is that it is only one inch longer than the ej series, rather than about the 50% of the eg33.

The other reason besides size, is the transmisson bolt pattern. If my sources are correct after MY99 (i.e. EJ engines) Subaru went to a 8 bolt pattern that was different than the pre 99 cars. Is this incorrect?

Thanks for that Adam, I thought H6 was a generic term as in V6, V8 etc.
The EG33 is only 115mm longer than the EJ20/22 (which is approx the OD of the extra liner)
EJ22 = 420mm
EG33 = 535mm
